The network today announced that the show, which follows Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt as they work on a comeback, earned 479,000 viewers during its Monday, 10 p.m. debut – becoming the most watched original premiere in the history of the network.
Nearly 900,000 total viewers tuned in if you factor in the encore airings as well.
“We were confident in the quality of production and that the compelling storytelling deriving from the Divas’ willingness to present their lives so openly and honestly would result in an entertaining series,” said Toni Judkins, TV One EVP of Programming and Production. “We’re pleased that the ratings reflect the viewers’ interest in and support of the show and TV One.”
Wonya Lucas, TV One President and CEO added, “As TV One continues to invest in original programming that reflects the breadth and depth of true Black life, it is encouraging to see the strong viewer response to quality entertainment programming.”

Good. I want to see black women supporting each other with genuine love and respect and I think the 1st episode showed that. However, i do see some possible drama down the road. Won’t say which sistah it is, but perhaps Iyanla can provide some counseling and/or therapy?
I predict it’ll be KeKe jump starting the drama if there is any.
So far so good… I watched the premiere show and I found it to be completely interesting. Yeah, there was some drama (Keke’s insecurities), but we wouldn’t watch if there wasn’t. Keke’s husband is a bit over the top and I often wonder how much of his personality is manufactured for the show? The most surprising personality was Nicci Gilbert’s lost love of singing professionally and all it entails. I found that to be shocking and disheartening to hear becuse in my opinion she was one of the baddest in the game. Routinely I’m not a fan of reality TV in general because most of them are negative, but this show I will be watching – just as long at the women continue to act like ladies and respect each other; the moment they start acting like fools I’m out. .
Yeah…I was kind of disappointed to hear Nicci say she lost her passion for singing. She has one of the most beautiful and powerful voices. But with the shananagans of the music industry, I can see her losing faith in that…but not her singing.
I thought it was entertaining and leans more towards REAL than a lot of these other reality shows. KeKe seems to have REAL issues, too! You know there’s going to be drama…the show wouldn’t last without it. That Syleena seems to be a trip, too.
I caught the last 15 mins of the show on Monday, I know of Faith Evans because she was married to Biggie Smalls but the other ladies I have never seen or heard of. If Nicki can SANG I would love ot hear some of her music and learn more about her, The REAL SANGERS need to take over the music scene.
This is a very good show! So great to see Faith Evans and her sisters on the screen. Keke Wyatt needs counseling!!. The relationship she has with her husband is not healthy! Her insecurities and fears prevent her from being independent.. I would not want to be “connected at the hip” to any man and can’t believe that her husband follows her around like that! Good Lord!, it’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen.
