*Remember T-Boz’s Georgia mansion she almost lost to foreclosure a few years back? Well, according to TMZ, she recently sold it … but for only half of what she paid for it.
The TLC singer almost lost her home in 2008 when she failed to make the mortgage payments on time, but was able to keep it from going on the auction block. She eventually filed for bankruptcy in 2011, with the mortgage on her home being her main debt.
Now the house is no longer a problem … she sold it for $680,000, a far cry from the $1,122,700 price she purchased it for back in 2001.
Sorry for your loss, T-Boz. If it helps any, we feel your pain.

She has nothing to be ashamed about…millions of Americans facing the same problem with the current economic status of our country. She will bounce back and keep it moving….
I hope the best for her.
Living beyond our means is dangerous..and unfortunately alot of Americans have found this out..especially with the down turn of the economy. It’s curial in the times we are now living to SAVE as much money as we can.. so when a raining day comes we will be able to maintain.
If you’re not a multi-millionair you don’t purchase a million dollar home. TLC was never a multi-million dollar singing group.. in fact the group was in debt at the end of their career.
To say that TLC was never a multi-million dollar singing group in inaccurate. They filed bankruptcy in the beginning of their career not the end. In 2001 when the home was purchased, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked TLC #3 on the Highest Paid Entertainers of Year list pulling in $21 million. I’m sure buying that house was a planned decision because she had the finances at that time. Since then Tionne has had a myriad of health problems including having a life-threatening brain tumor removed. That surgery definitely wasn’t cheap and was probably paid for out-of-pocket. I wonder if she had/has health insurance due to her preexisting health conditions. Factor in all those hospitals bills coupling with the fact that her group isn’t able to earn the way they used to due to Lisa’s tragic death and this is what you get. Whatever the case I’m sure she isn’t down to her very last dollar or in need of anything but I do wish her the very best.
I wish u the best T – a lot of folk right now have suffered losses over the last five years. But remember, God’s word say’s that “I will RESTORE the years…………………..”
She’s been going through some serious hardships. I wish the best for her. Hopefully she can some work in tv, etc. to get back on her feet.
