by Bowlegged Lou

vivica a fox*Hey folks, Bowlegged Lou from Full Force here …

My friend Vivica A. Fox was caught off guard with a lil “Full Force” as she was surprised & presented with the 2012 Peachtree Village International Film Festival SPOTLIGHT award held last weekend in Atlanta

There was also a special surprise video tribute given to her at the awards ceremony as her dear family, celebrity friends & her friend-friends helped to honor the foxy one for her amazing and enduring career & for being the beautiful person that she is.

Accomplices in helping to coordinate & trick an unsuspecting Vivica were yours truly, Bowlegged Lou, her beloved brother Marvin Fox, her dear close friend Azja Pryor & her niece Sharde Williams. An emotional Vivica thought she was there only to present the rising star award to actress Naturi Naughton. Ha, gotcha Viv! :)

Marvin, Azja, myself , along with my “Forceful” brothers Paul Anthony & B-Fine, were on hand to personally present the award as well! (Coming next week will be video of Vivica’s emotional acceptance speech.)

Appreciative shouts to CEO/founder of The film festival >Mr Len Gibson & his entire team, producer of the awards ceremony, Mr. P. Frank Williams, hosts: comic Rodney Perry & Ramona Debreaux & Full Force’s friend & talented videographer, Mr. Xanda “X-Man” Tonge!!

There was also a 20th anniversary salute to the the film “Boomerang” with awards going to Eddie Murphy, director Reggie Hudlin, producer Warrington Hudlin, actor Daryl Chill Mitchell. A soundtrack performance award was presented to Toni Braxton and was accepted by her sisters Towanda & Trina.

Other talented & notable  folk in the house included Charles S. Dutton, Tommy Ford, Terri Vaughn, Omari Hardwick, singer Angie Stone, Ed Gordon, Taneka Ray, former “Atlanta Housewife” Lisa Woo, film director/radio personality Russ Parr, comedian Pierre, radio personality Terry Bello, Ray Charles’ singing daughter Sheila Ray Charles & many others.

Oh yeah, before I forget, Vivica will also be co-starring in a brand new TV series on TBS in 2013 entitled “Mr. Box Office.” Her cast members are Bill Bellamy, Jon Lovitz, Gary Busey, Keisha Knight Pulliam and Rick Fox. The series is executive produced by Byron Allen.

Editors Note: We’ll be speaking with Ms. Fox next week to get her reaction to the surprised now that she’s had a minute or two to let it all sink in.

In the meantime, watch the Vivica surprise video tribute below to see what made her cry.
