“Sparkle” star Jordin Sparks honored the birthday of her late co-star Whitney Houston today by tweeting a photo of the two of them, alongside cast members Carmen Ejogo and Tika Sumpter – doing the Dougie.
“We found the pic!!! Me, the girls & Whitney doin the ‘dougie’!!! She was so fun & loving!! I love you mama! #HappyBirthdayWhitney,” Jordin tweeted, along with the above pic.
“Sparkle,” Whitney’s last movie project, hits theaters on Aug. 17.
A source close to the family told the New York Daily News that the movie studio originally asked to hold the red carpet premiere in Los Angeles this week, but family members requested a postponement due to Houston’s birthday.
