*It’s officially over for Evelyn Lozada and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.

“Evelyn and Mr. Johnson were divorced this morning in an uncontested final hearing,” states Lozada’s lawyer Michael Gilden. “My client is a single woman and looks forward to her future.”
One month after Lozada, 36, filed for divorce on grounds the marriage was “irretrievably broken” following a domestic dispute, a Florida judge made it official this morning (Sept. 19). The judge also upheld a private pre-nuptial agreement.
Johnson, 34, was arrested on Aug. 11 on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge after he allegedly head-butted Lozada during an argument. Lozada, star of VH1’s “Basketball Wives,” was treated for a “pretty good-sized” laceration to her forehead, police Cpt. Dale Engle told NFL.com at the time.
Prior to the divorce filing on Aug. 14, Lozada released a statement addressing the incident: “It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.”
The former Miami Dolphins player has since taken to Twitter to show off a tattoo of Lozada’s face on his leg. Johnson also issued a public apology via his website. “I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred,” he wrote. “I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death.”

Whoopity doo! Who cares??? And now she wants to a domestic violence spokesperson? She’s gonna milk her situation for all its worth. It was okay when she was whipping other women’s asses yet she gets headbutted and she’s hollering about abuse??? Yeah, ok. Two wrongs do not make it right.

Evelyn is nothing more than a bully, on the BBW she is cussing and throwing things and jumping off tables tryin to assault the other women on the show and now the shoe is on the other foot, she knew about Chad’s temper and he hit her before yet she still married him…. insecurity perhaps????
Well that was quick. And yet, somehow I don’t view Evelyn as the face of domestic abuse. I am not implying that she was not assaulted. Merely that I see her as using this incident to promote herself, rather than abuse victims.
Good for you Evelyn, no woman should never be hit by a man, he came from a woman why would he do that, i am sure he has a daughter too if it ok for a man to put his hand on her. God be with you Evelyn.
