*Chris Brown failed a drug test recently in Virginia, testing positive for weed. But the judge was merciful and didn’t revoke his probation

The singer happened to be in court for a probation progress report for beating Rihanna a few years ago.

You wanna know how he got out of it? Well, he’s smarter than you think. Chris told his probation officer he had smoked weed in California, where he carries a medical marijuana prescription, but he failed the test in Virginia, where weed smoking is illegal.

He was let go with a stern reminder.
