Erin DiMeglio joins the South Plantation High School Paladins to become the state’s first female high school quarterback.
*Florida has had a lot of bad press lately with its Zimmermans, abusive parents, zombies and other foolishness.
But the high school sports world is giving them a reprieve with their exhibit of maturity and civility in the face of a major transition in high school football.
South Plantation High School has welcomed its first female quarterback both for the school and the state of Florida.
Erin DiMeglio was called out on the gridiron in the Friday night lights last week and the fans as well as her teammates couldn’t have been happier.
The 5’4, 140lb. athlete has been welcomed as just another one of the guys.

As great as she has performed on the football field this season, Erin has shined even brighter off the field. Although she plays high school football, Erin is already a full-time college freshman student at Broward College. Keep in mind, Erin has yet to celebrate her 18th birthday.
I really hope that Erin continues to perform very well in football this season, so she can make history by becoming the first female quarterback to sign a Letter of Intent to play for a college football program on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
Cu Tie, you douche bag failure, she wasn’t even offered a scholaship.
