*Small steps are being taken to battle racism.
When more and more businesses begin to suffer the financial repercussions for their injustices against minorities, maybe they will begin to understand better how their prejudice affects the future of their business.
But in the meantime, the government will continue to hold their feet to the fire.
Meyer Tool in Cincinnati is the latest example of discrimination against African American applicants. Meyer Tool is one of Cincinnati’s largest private companies and it manufactures engine parts.
They tried to prevent African Americans from receiving positions with their company and was charged for their actions.

What a hefty price to pay for being selfish and stupid.
Kind of ironic that they manufactured tools, because it reminds me of a story I read years ago when this type of discrimination was universally practiced throughout America. This guy was a tool maker, and he applied to numerous places but no one would hire him. He eventually figured out that if he could get hired as a janitor, then he could get a foot in the door. So after working as a janitor and getting to know them, he eventually got a position as a tool maker. I always think of that story when I’m applying for jobs and they ask for information about race claiming how federal law prohibits them from discriminating. There would also be an option not to self identify, but I’m always unsure what to do, because then they may try to spite you for withholding the requested info.
It’s still a tricky business getting a job as a black man Amerikkka.

Reds, actually it’s the same for Black women. I know a lady with 16 years of teaching school experience and can’t get a job. Whites are being hired left and right though…especially those from TFA etc. She’s thinking about checking ‘white’ on applications and using a different name/email address detailing the same experience just to see if employers will contact her.
Since I started with my online business I earn $62 every 15 minutes. It sounds unbelievable but you wont forgive yourself if you don’t check it out. Red97dotc om
