*It seems that campaigning for the presidency never sleeps.
Even as the U.S. Embassy was attacked by a small Libyan militia group and four American officials killed, Mitt Romney found time to attack the White House. His disrespectful rant to the media was a real sucker punch to the President.
Romney took an unofficial statement from the Cairo Embassy and misconstrued it to look like President Obama sympathized with those who attacked the Embassy. According to the Huffington Post, Romney told the press:
“I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi,” Romney said in the statement. “It’s disgraceful that the Obama Administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.”

Romney looks so stupid and out of touch spewing his usual drivel. It’s just a matter of time before the public starts to focus on who really provoked these horrific attacks in the ME. Now the coward that got the ball rolling is running scared and hiding out.
Israeli filmmaker in hiding after anti-Islam movie sparks deadly Libya, Egypt protests
Film by Sam Bacile, who self-identifies as an Israeli Jew, led to protests at the U.S. consulate in Libya and the U.S. Embassy in Cairo; one American staffer killed in clashes.

An Israeli filmmaker went into hiding on Tuesday after his movie attacking Islam’s Prophet Muhammad sparked angry assaults by Muslims on U.S. diplomatic missions in Egypt and in Libya, where one American was killed.
Speaking by phone from an undisclosed location, writer and director Sam Bacile remained defiant, saying Islam is a cancer and that he intended his film to be a provocative political statement condemning the religion.
Protesters angered over Bacile’s film opened fire on and burned down the U.S.consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, killing an American State Department officer on Tuesday. In Egypt, protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. embassy in Cairo and replaced an American flag with an Islamic banner.
Bacile, a California real estate developer in his fifties who identifies himself as an Israeli Jew, said he believes the movie will help his native land by exposing Islam’s flaws to the world. ”
“Islam is a cancer, period,” he repeatedly said in a solemn, accented tone.
The two-hour movie, “Innocence of Muslims,” cost $5 million to make and was financed with the help of more than 100 Jewish donors, said Bacile, who wrote and directed it.
The film claims Muhammad was a fraud. An English-language 13-minute trailer on YouTube shows an amateur cast performing a wooden dialogue of insults disguised as revelations about Muhammad, whose obedient followers are presented as a cadre of goons.
It depicts Muhammad as a feckless philanderer who approved of child sexual abuse, among other overtly insulting claims that have caused outrage.
Muslims find it offensive to depict Muhammad in any manner, let alone insult the prophet. A Danish newspaper’s 2005 publication of 12 caricatures of the prophet triggered riots in many Muslim countries.
Though Bacile was apologetic about the American who was killed as a result of the outrage over his film, he blamed lax embassy security and the perpetrators of the violence.
“I feel the security system (at the embassies) is no good,” said Bacile.
“America should do something to change it.”
The film was dubbed into Egyptian Arabic by someone Bacile doesn’t know, but he speaks enough Arabic to confirm that the translation is accurate. It was made in three months in the summer of 2011, with 59 actors and about 45 people behind the camera.
The full film has been shown once, to a mostly empty theater in Hollywood earlier this year, said Bacile.
Plenty of undecided voters are flocking to Obama now that they have a good read on The Cyborg. Many are simply commenting…”My check is in the mail.”
Just as I thought. Bet The Cyborg has a sinking feeling in his gut about now.

“Libya Surprise” Could Be Death Knell for Romney Campaign
Posted by John Cassidy
So much for that. After last night’s “September surprise,” Obama is still home free, and Mitt Romney is still trailing. In fact, this might well be the death knell for his campaign. But what an uproar.
The reaction to Romney’s desperate gambit has been almost universally negative. About the only people who are sticking up for him today are Jim DeMint, the Tea Party senator from South Carolina, and Bill Kristol, the editor of the Weekly Standard. Even Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, failed to echo his line of attack. Speaking in Wisconsin, Ryan described the killings in Libya as “pretty disturbing,” but he didn’t criticize Obama, and he said it was “a time for healing.”
Melodycool, you are probably right that Obama will win again, but I think you, like the media, are overzealous on this story. I honestly don’t think a lot of the American people will read this story like you and the media seem to be hoping. Yes Romney is a rich, racist stiff with no political identity who like Bush is trying to “do what papa couldn’t do” BUT, he was able to seize on a sentiment that is ignored by the msm but is palpable in the mainstream–people would like for someone to finally call out Islamic extremism once and for all. That statement released by the WH to stave off violence did come off as apologetic. There is an element of Islam that is violent and somewhere in middle America people are glad when someone is not afraid to admit that. You might think everyone will adopt the msm’s tone on this that “Romney is an idiot,” but I can guarantee you that not everyone will. I think the msm is revealing itself to be too much in the tank for Obama right now. Middle America is not going to read this story the same way they are hoping. Mark my words. They need to stop with all the punditry before it ends up backfiring. Just something to think about.
Romney is tone deaf and it’s becoming increasingly clear to a number of voters. This incident is simply highlighting how barren and hollow he truly is. Sure, some folks could care less about this but the news/comments is overwhelming against The Cyborg from what I can tell.
OK, Mel, so tell me what exactly happened that sank Romney?
Bless his heart. Romney knows he has no more change of being elected President than I do…I think the Republicans probably didn’t have anybody to throw up there who didn’t have some type of scandal behind their name so they picked him and when this is over, he will get paid like hell for just being the fall guy just like that nut job Sarah Palin…I mean we totally sympathize with those that lost their lives in the middle east but FOCK, the U.S. should just leave the middle east period and focus on the issues over here…those folks have been at war with each other since the beginning of time and how is the U.S. going to bring peace over there when we’re damn near living in third world conditions ourselves. We can’t even get adequate healthcare. Then they act like the President went over there and shot up the place himself…
