*Recently referred to as “the apple of her dad’s eye,” by longtime nanny Grace Rwaramba, 14-year-old Paris Jackson has shared with Glamour magazine that she doesn’t think the title of “Michael Jackson’s Daughter” is a good fit.
Paris has been in the news a lot lately; the whole public odyssey surrounding her excessive tweets and followers, the supposed slap that was felt around the world between her and her auntie Janet, her Oprah interview; and now, an interview in the October issue of Glamour magazine.
It makes us wonder, what would Michael do?
It seems the very thing he worked so hard to prevent has come to fruition; at least with one of his kids.

His little girl is growing up fast, and unabashedly sharing her opinions.
“I love my dad, and I’m proud to be his daughter. I just don’t think the title ‘M.J.’s daughter’ fits me. A lot of people think he’s the only reason I’m making it, but I want to show that I do have talent and that I can make it if I try. I want to be my own person,”she tells Glamour.
Set to star in the motion picture, “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,”Paris tells Glamour not everyone is happy about her choice to become an actress.
“A lot of people don’t want me to do it , but Aunt La Toya believes in me,” she tells Glamour. “She heard me play a little guitar and sing, and she started clapping, ‘Oh my God, oh my God.’ She really does encourage me; it’s just awesome of her, she adds.”
Her aunt Janet Jackson has said:
“She has the rest of her adult life to be that actress that she wants to be … your childhood—you completely lose.”

I know quite a bit about “MJ” and connect with his daugher. You know it does not matter who her father was or wasnt, her wanting to branch out on her own is just a normal teenage phase.
I understand that in this world it still is who you know and its sad that “certain people” can be manipulated for greed and power, trust me I been there and seen it and still am really.
Authority means nothing to me, however obviously it means a great deal to others and as I said its sad that even parents will succumb to power and greed over their own children. It is going on has I voice this opinion. (long story) when someone THINKS they have the power to hurt others dont worry let it go, God will release Karma.
I understand that a lot of you as I read do not like MJ and that is ok, he may have not been whom he said he was or is. However that is irrevalant to his daughter wanting her own identity.
I think if MJ was alive he would not care, which is sad, whether or not she is his biological daughter has once again nothing to do with what she wants in her life at the moment.
She will try as all teens do and fail or succeed, but she has to try on her own to find out right.

I have to disagree with certain points in your post.
It is clear that she is going to through a teenage phase however, when MJ was alive, he fought very hard to protect his children from public scrutiny. It is obvious that somebody is not paying this child any attention and has allowed her to run the amok. She also seems to lack any kind of discipline or boundaries as she comes across as rude and disrespectful. She should take her ‘Aunt’ Janet’s suggestion and get an education. The Jacksons have been around longer than Paris has been alive and know the pitfalls of celebrity. At her age, she is not equipped to handle the demands of stardom. She needs to know her place as child. Didn’t she see what happened to MJ?
Also, at least my comment, has nothing to do with whether I liked MJ or not. I did not know him personally to make that judgment, however, I have bought & listened to MJ/Jackson 5/Jacksons music before MJ’s ‘Thriller’ phenomenon. That was when MJ was ‘human’ and wasn’t created into the ‘mystical, peter pan’ type character that MJ got himself emeshed in. Whether I like an artist or not is irrevelant as long as the music is good. That’s unless the artist is child molestor, then they get no support from me.

I do agree with you in every sense of the way for sure. She has not mother/ father so it is not a stable life at all. You can have all the people around you that you want and it doesnt mean a thing or even that your loved. Fake friends will lose in the end.

Paris is just a little girl really, she has a head on her shoulders and she is quite intelligent, however she still is only 14 and does not (like anyone that age) really understand all of lifes up and downs yet. When your 14 and in love you are just a child with butterflies in your stomach and cant wait to play and have fun. When they are 30 they will most likey forget each others name.
At 14 you think you have all the problems in the world as they know nothing else yet. When we get older , we have experienced the world with our eyes opened wider and know that there is so much else to discover and being in love is more special then when you were 14
I think she should be a child longer, I think kids want to grow up to fast these days not realizing what is waiting for them on the other side of the fence. It is too bad, but no matter what you instill into your childrens lives, they will evenuatlly branch out and go through different stages. Their friends will become more important, being cool and fitting in will be their way of life. Its part of growing up, we just have to hope that whatever life we live with our children that one day the essence of what we taught them will inspire something in their life as they grow and learn.
Yes some parents do not care and I see it now, allow their children to take what they can and do the wrong things for power and greed as I mentioned earlier, however these parents will suffer the consquences to the fullest. Maybe life and their own children will teach these kind of parents a thing or two.
Paris is a beautiful girl and yes I think she is rebelling and about to embark on something she is NOT ready for, however as I mentioned earlier again, she has no mother nor father.
