*On Sept 4, Full Force’s Bowlegged Lou – along with family and friends – surprised his brother Paul Anthony with a super birthday video tribute at Caroline’s Comedy Club in NYC. The surprise affair was hosted by funny men A.G. White and Brooklyn Mike.
The video is a sheer joy to watch as stars such as Malcolm Jamal Warner, Kid -N-Play, New Edition, LisaRaye, Lisa Lisa, Queen Latifah, Wanye Morris (Boyz 2 Men), Big Daddy Kane, Laz Alonzo, Roland Martgin, Nick Cannon and many, many more as well as friends and family members wish Paul Anthony a big ol’ happy birthday. And of course, we’d like to extend to him a belated happy birthday from Lee Bailey and the folks at EURweb.
Paul, along with his brothers Bowlegged Lou and B-Fine, were on stage just to do a short comedy music routine when right afterwards, Lou introduced a video tribute to the movie “House Party.” But unbeknownst to Paul it was really the birthday video tribute to him.
Seems like Paul Anthony should’ve known. After all, it was him, B-Fine and Bowlegged Lou who conspired to surprise an unsuspecting Vivica A Fox a few weeks ago in Atlanta at the Peachtree Village International Film Festival. (See our story on that, here.) Plus, just being the brother of Hall of Fame prankster Bowlegged Lou, should keep him on his toes at all times. Oh well.
In any event, according to Lou (who – along with ace videographer Xanda “X-Man” Tongue – edited and directed the surprise presentation), tears of emotion filled Paul’s face as he took in the special b-day video dedicated to him. And as you’re viewing the video (below) that he was watching, you’ll see why he was so emotional.
