*While President Obama is in New York next week for his 20/20 fundraiser with Jay-Z and Beyonce, he’ll make a pit stop at “The Late Show with David Letterman” for his seventh appearance since the 2008 election.

The president will be interviewed on the Tuesday, Sept. 18 broadcast – the same day he’ll attend the “BeyonJay” fundraiser.
Letterman will then meet up with President Obama in Washington as, the talk show host was announced yesterday as a Kennedy Center Honoree. All honorees attend an event at the White House and the Kennedy Center ceremony will be attended by the Obamas.
Letterman also just hosted Michelle Obama twice last month: on August 29, and on August 13 with Olympian Gabby Douglas.
