The former Massachusetts governor currently trails President Obama among registered Latino voters by nearly 40%, and last week he was revealed to have said that when it comes to his presidential chances, “it would be helpful to be Latino.”
So when Romney arrived at last night’s “presidential forum” hosted by Latino network Univision with his face looking as tanned as Rep. John Boener’s, the blogs pounced – believing the GOP candidate actually dyed his face brown.
The blog Wonkette wondered if perhaps the GOP nominee was involved in some sort of “self-tanner accident” or perhaps went out tanning with John Boehner “for a little pick-me-up.”
Democratic Underground was the first to post the below picture under the headline “Mitt Romney dyed his face brown for his Univision interview – ‘Real Photo’.”
