*U.S. Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is the latest politician to be caught in a sex scandal over a letter he sent his wife nine years ago during his tour as an Army lieutenant colonel in Iraq.

In the hand-written letter, West asks that his wife, Dr. Angela West, be his own personal “porn star,” and details “non-negotiable” sex acts that she was to perform on his return. He also orders her to wear only two-piece bathing suits.
Former Palm Beach Post and Radar.com staffer Jose Lambiet published some of the contents of the letter on his South Florida site Gossip Extra, arguing the intimate details are news-worthy because the way the Tea Party Congressman relates to women has become an issue in his reelection race.
Lambiet said he exclusively obtained the letter written to his wife, a doctor in education who sits as a trustee on the board of Florida Atlantic University. The two married in 1989.
The congressman tells his wife he expects certain intimate acts upon his return that will be “the standard and it is non-negotiable.”
He tells her: “From now on, you will wear two-piece swim suits when on vacations.”
Then: “Angela, I need to know, are you committed to being my porn star?
“I do not want to hear ‘no’ or ‘we’ll see about that.’ I want my fantasies to be with you. God has authorized you and you only as my partner for intimacy and that is what I want.”
And he signs off: “Get ready!”
West, a self-professed “modern-day Harriet Tubman” who previously compared the idea of someone going for a ride on his motorcycle to “touching my wife,” is 9 points behind Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy for Florida’s 18th District, according to a new Democratic poll out Monday.
West said last year that “Planned Parenthood women” are “neutering American men” and voted to defund the women’s health group, then generated more controversy when he called Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) “vile,” “despicable,” and “not a lady.”
Also in the letter to his wife, West says that although he doesn’t compare physically to the male models of the movie “Soul Food,” he will always do his best to always be “a clean cut, healthy and affectionate man!”

Yo….not because of “this”?, but vote “Democratically” the WHOLE ticket!! We canNOT afford another “2010 lazy azz voting cycle”, this time around!!!! So….DO the damn thang, peeps!!!! Chuuuuuuch!!!
I bet this was a long running joke between them. . . . . .Taurusingr? you never have been in a relationship you told ya girl to “get ready”? LoL
Even “House Negroes” like to get their freak on. I’m sure wives especially military wives get letters like this all the time. I remember some of the most freakiest/perverted letters I sent my ex when I was in the original Gulf War.That was one hell of a homecoming.
I should have been arrested for the stuff I wrote to my husband, when I went to Saudi Arabia. : )
I can’t stand this dude, but that letter was between he and his wife. This was blown out of proportion. He wanted a fantasy to be fulfilled by his wife. That’s all. I bet she fulfilled it too. LOL
I don’t get what the fuss is all about what this man wrote his to his WIFE! I’m a military wife (navy) and with those lonnng deployments, I got letters similar to what he wrote all the time. LOLOLOL
I concur with all the above comments what a husband & wife says, do, in private is there’s business….. I’ll liked 2 know how did this person get his hand in this letter….
While I don’t agree with his politics, I believe that this was a personal, private matter between he and his wife. I don’t see anything wrong with what he said to her. Imagine if everything we said to our spouses, partners in an intimate setting was leaked, might cause some embarrassing if not laughable moments. Is the public so use to marriages blowing up with charges of infidelity, abuse, etc., that when something like this happens this becomes newsworthy? Is the former the norm for marriages? I hope not.
The media continually says that the public has a right to know, well someone dug deep for this letter in place they should not have been, and it is none of our business. Its not newsworthy and does not make me like/dislike the man any more. Had this been a letter to a mistress, that would have been newsworthy because this darkie is a conservative and tea party participant. It would follow the pattern of saying one thing publicly and another privately which is obviously the prerequesite for being a conservative.
