Ann Romney to ‘The View,’ First Lady to ‘Kelly & Michael’

*The same day President Obama will be on “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” Ann Romney is set to appear for the first time on “The View,” ABC announced today.

On Oct. 19, the very next day, Michelle Obama will visit “LIVE with Kelly and Michael.” This is the First Lady’s fourth visit to “LIVE,” but first since Michael Strahan took over for Regis Philbin.

Both shows air on ABC affiliates in Los Angeles and the majority of markets in southern California with LIVE at 9 a.m. and “The View” at 10 a.m.

Despite previous promises, Mitt Romney will not be joining his wife on “The View” this week.  Last month, co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck read out on air “the Romneys would once again love to join the sharp-tongued chatter in October.” Today Walters announced on the show, “Well, he can change his mind and we hope he does. It would be our pleasure to have him on the program.”
