A younger Aretha Franklin & Halle Berry
*Maybe now we finally know why Aretha Franklin has been insisting on having Halle Berry portray her in her upcoming biopic.
According to press release from her publicist, Gwendolyn Quinn, Sister Re believes Hshe and the Oscar winning actress are related.
She says according to a family member, her grandmother and Halle’s grandmother were first cousins. Well, who knew?!
Franklin is currently investigating the authenticity of the family member’s claim. Although we can’t see it, but Franklin has stated in the past that Halle reminds her of the younger version of herself.
this fixation with halle playing her is getting spooky….
And she still doesn’t want to be cast in your biopic Re Re. What’s the obsession with Halle? She’s not a great actress.
