*The race for the White House between President Obama and Mitt Romney may be tight right now, but one thing is for sure … General Colin Powell is still down with Barack Obama.
The former head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of State in the George W. Bush administration told “CBS This Morning” he respects Mitt Romney but thinks he’s been vague on many issues.
Powell also said President Obama got the United States out of Iraq and has laid out a plan for leaving Afghanistan “and didn’t get us into any new wars.”
He praises Obama’s economic performance, saying that while difficult choices are ahead on taxes, spending and budgetary policies, “steadily, I think we’ve begun to come out of the dive and we’re gaining altitude.” Powell, a retired general, also formerly was a White House chief of staff and chairman of the military’s Joint Chief of Staffs.
Oh yeah, General Powell says he’s still a Republican.

Let The Church Say Amen.I Stand Behind His Speech He See’s A Good Thang, Yes Obama
No doubt, this war criminal will spend the remainder of his days trying to atone for his war crimes. Good on him for trying I guess, but there will forever be blood on his hands. He must recognize that everyday he looks in the mirror. No matter how much scrubbing with soap you do “General,” the blood will not go away.
At least there’s one reasonable republican out there
