*Nothing has been confirmed, but TMZ is reporting that Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez have been hired to co-host “The X Factor” when the live shows begin on Nov. 1.

According to the website, the two are close to signing deals, and an announcement is expected later this week.
CNN, meanwhile, confirms the news via an “X Factor” insider, who is quoted as saying: ”Those two want to do it, and the show is keen to have them.”
Kardashian and Lopez would replace former host Steve Jones on the new-look series, which brought in Britney Spears and Demi Lovato to replace previous judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
