*“Saved by the Bell” actress, Lark Voorhies, who played Lisa Turtle on the show, was caught acting strangely when TMZ spotted her and her male friend in Los Angeles earlier this week.
In a recent People magazine article, the actor’s mother states that she is suffering from bipolar disorder. When asked about it, Lark denied the story, but didn’t make a very good argument for herself.
She was caught on video (below) stammering to express how she feels about her mother’s report.
“Well I think it quite comical… I’ll put it to you like this, outside contract, everything is funny. Beautiful pictures though, don’t you think?”
It got worse as the conversation went on, her words sounding disjointed and confused.
When asked about her spirituality, Lark said: “We’re all built on it. We’re all in tune to its calling and informant connection. I think that pretty much completes statement regarding that context.”
Huh? Strange, disconcerting and kinda hard to watch. Meantime, we’re wondering why the dude next to her didn’t “rescue her” because she was having a hard time keeping it together.
At least she looked put together.

Ah Hell she sounds like me when I’m having a Sjogrens/lupus mental flair of CONFUSION! We call it brain fog because the mind gets foggy sometimes not able to process what’s spoken and/or form logical sentencing!! May look like a million bucks, but a mess on the inside!!
OFTEN misdianoised with thousands of things both physically and mentally, but the thing is it’s very scary because you know something is NOT right at times. I HATE to even open my mouth when I flair like THIS!!!
I would STRONGLY suggest she be checked for an autoimmune disease of some kind because though not all of us with one react like this, many, many of us do!!
GOD BLESS!!!
IF this is the case, there is a meds that can greatly help her! I just can’t take it because of eye disease I have, but it helps many with brain fog and other things. I have a tendercy to forget words when I’m talking and even forget what I’m talking about and then start to be all over the place not making sense. I am aware of what is happening and become frustrated and embarresed at myself!
If I’ve mispelled words, it’s because at the moment I’ve forgotten how to spell it no matter how small!
Ms. Voorhees’ language shows evidence of aphasia. She may have some type of neurological disorder that affects her language. Her expressive language shows much aphasia, neologisms or nonsense words. It’s a shame that the media wishes to make a sideshow of a woman with so many signs of illness.
