*Since Shaunie O’Neal posted her thoughts about a “Basketball Wives: LA”make over, Laura Govan is wondering to what extent.
“I might say that I would agree with her. A makeover is needed, but I don’t know to what extent,” Laura told Sister 2 Sister.

The reality star disclosed that Shaunie may be a producer, but her influence on the LA project is minimal.
“If you gonna have your name stamped on something, you should definitely support it,” said Laura. In fact, according to Laura, it was her and her sister Gloria who actually came up with the idea for the show.
“If it’s ‘Basketball Wives,’ then let’s hold this title. At least have some basketball affiliation,” she said. “At least keep it in the group, just have an affiliation. I’ve been with my guy 12 years, regardless of marriage or not. I’ve paid my dues. Give me some people who have paid their dues.”
Who didn’t pay their dues? She wouldn’t say, but the newbies have a short history with basketball players.
Brook Bailey is allegedly in a relationship with Rashard Lewis; and Draya Michele has only dated a few ballers, but is best known for her fling with Chris Brown.

I mean, you’re all loose women with a penchant for rich men…do you have a killer J?
This show is so far off from the real truth about real housewives. There are plenty of basketball wives who are doing positive things. These are the women we want to see on TV.
