*ABC has given a full-season order to Kerry Washington’s ABC drama “Scandal,” while Common will continue on for a just-announced third season of AMC’s “Hell on Wheels.”

“Scandal,” which launched with a short seven-episode first season in April, follows the professional cases and the personal problems of political fixer Olivia Pope (Washington). The series comes from “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice” creator Shonda Rhimes.

While AMC is renewing the western drama “Hell on Wheels,” for a third season, the show is moving forward without its creators Joe and Tony Gayton, who are stepping down as executive producers and will no longer be involved on the show day-to-day, Deadline reports.

The Gaytons had a two-year contract, which expired, but they may continue to consult for the show.
