I am neither careless or clueless, as I said, I read it and took offense to the tone of the “top 20″ as another post said, it was condescending, stereotyped and patronizing, his point is that black folks are a bunch of excuses making, lazy, passers of responsibility etc as if those are the only kind of people voting for Obama! I would have been just as offended if Ann Coulter had composed the list! Frankly the list is “careless and clueless” then he attempted to mask it with humor! Gtfoh!
A lot of times we judge people by our preconceived notion of them. You clearly say in your first response the he is “hating” because he hasn’t’ accomplished what Obama has.
Now that’s a stretch for anyone to say about someone like Tavis, when all he has done is try to hold Obama accountable for what is expected from a progressive Democratic president. Of course, you and other “objective” minded individuals view that as hating. So no matter what Tavis says, even when he is trying to get Obama re-elected, you and those of your ilk will view it with suspicion, if not outright contempt.

Regardlesss of how I may personally feel about Tavis, this was simply the reasons black folks will give for not voting if Prez O loses. Some of us if not all have heard these words from someone in our neighborhood or overheard someone telling another one of this lines for past elections. My son heard a man say the reason he wasn’t voting was because Obama was going to win anyway (which would be akin to number 1 on the list). Whatever your choice, whatever your reason for your choice it is important to vote if not before certainly on election day. If you don’t vote, you have no right to complain.
What I started off saying was “here is this mofo again” and I did and stand by my comment that he is a hater! He went well beyond trying to hold Obama accountable, his constant critique was not constructive and frankly counterproductive! He seemed to discount anything “Obama” which made his ranting appear personal. Then he went as far as to infer that those that dont see it his way was blinded by Obama’s blackness and couldn’t possibly support his policies and platform on our own! Just as insulting as this ignorant ass list! So YES I am suspicious of anything Obama related coming from Tavist!
