toni braxton*If you ever wondered what was going on with Toni Braxton back in the day when she recorded “You’re Makin’ Me High,” you’re about to find out.

In an upcoming (Mon., Oct. 29 at 10/9c) episode of “Behind the Music” on VH1, the then (and still) hot mama broke it down. She says her first number one hit was basically about smoking chronic and sexin’. Yep, your suspicions are confirmed if that’s where your mind was. :)

Ms. Braxton says not too long before she wrote “You’re Makin’ Me High” with Bryce Wilson and Babyface, she hooked up with cannabis for the first time. When they put the lyrics to paper, she added the line, “You roll, I lick and we can go flying into ecstasy.”

“A week before [writing the song with Babyface and Bryce Wilson],  I was introduced to marijuana, and I got high for the first time. [..] In the bridge, I’m singing ‘I want to feel your heart and soul inside of me / Let’s make a deal you roll, I lick / And we can go flying into ecstasy’, I was talking about [smoking a joint].”

Well, if marijuana makes you sexy like Miss Toni, it needs to be legalized quick, fast and in a hurry! ;)
