*Bobbi Kristina is on a mission to walk the path to stardom like her mother did.
Whitney Houston’s daughter wants to become a singer and plans to make her mark by performing a duet with her late mother to Whitney’s 1985 classic, “Saving All My Love for You.”
Unfortunately, she appears to be taking all the same steps her mother did, including drugs. The 19-year-old has already been in and out of rehab for drug and alcohol abuse.
“She appreciates that the song started her mother on the road to success and believes it can do the same for her,” a source told The ENQUIRER. “She wants to keep some of Whitney’s vocals on the track, and then add some of her own to make it a duet.
“Natalie Cole did the same thing with one of her dad Nat’s trademark songs, ‘Unforgettable,’ and it wound up being the biggest hit of her career. That’s Krissi’s blueprint.”
But Bobbi Kristina’s family is completely against her tactics to becoming a star. They say she needs to take the traditional path and get singing lessons.

Does anybody know if this drugged out brat can even carry a tune? She will never ever be on a par with her mom no matter how hard she tries. She is setting herself up for failure that will only lead to heartache and more substance abuse and possibly an early demise just like her mother. I wish somebody would shake her and send her off to college to an education so she could pursue something more worthy and possible for her.
she sounds horrible talking, i can only imagine how terrible she will sound singing. i guess the producers will try to throw her voice over top of some vocoder and paste some beats on her and push her out there. smdh.
I never was all that fond of Natalie Cole’s voice . . .but, I can bet BK’s rendition will defintely be “Forgettable”. Some one needs to check her before she makes a fool out of herself, because if she had any talent, we’d have known about it for a long time.
The difference is that Natalie was already a star in her own right and had a proven track record. She didn’t use the duet as a means to break into the business. I saw Bobbi sing on some video a while back before Whitney’s death. She actually does have a pretty good voice, but definitely needs voice lessons.
SMH. Whitney did her child disservice. By not ‘grounding’ her in reality, she has this false sense of entitlement and lack of humility. I can see why BK does not get along with her father because Bobby wasn’t having none of her bad attitude. Bobby may have his alcohol abuse problems but he seems to really love his children. This one here….SMH again.
BK did not inherit her mother’s exceptional vocals but, Bobbi K can still try to see if she is cut out fior the msuic biz, come on now if the mediocre talent that dominates the charts now can get put out CD’s at every turn( we know who some of the pop tarts are) then Bobbi K can also.
but she shool inherited her daddys gap….
correction- can put out CD’s at every turn
I saw the video with BK singing, she’s no Whitney or Bobby (just my opinion folks). Khanman I wonder sometimes if BK ever sat in a classroom, I would also like to see her go a different route and go to college instead. Bk knows that the entertainment world is not a friendly business, and with that mean streak in her, I’ve got a feeling that BK will not handle rejection very well.
