*EURweb associate Cherise Nicole, a/ka/ CNikky, caught up with R&B Singer and former “X-Factor” contestant Marcus Canty at the 2012 Soul Train Awards taping in Las Vegas.
We didn’t expect Marcus to be a “comedian,” but the affable singer had CNikky crackin’ up during the entire interview. Marcus told us about his crush on Beyonce and KeKe Palmer; what it was like to work with Wale and director Erik White on his first video; the new season of the “X Factor”; L.A. Reid; being the most popular person in his family and his alter-ego, M.C. aka “The Doctor.”

“All of these artist out here … L.A. is the reason they’re here. I loved it when he went to Atlanta and ripped Atlanta into shreds.”
Are you getting love from the ladies?
“Ladies, here comes the Doctor!”
If you could have any lady in the industry on your arm, who would it be?
“You know … Jay-Z stole my dream.” “But, KeKe … she gettin’ kinda older now!”
