*Paps spotted supermodel Gabriel Aubry in Los Angeles on Saturday with a bruised and swollen face – the result of a Thanksgiving altercation with the boyfriend of his baby mama, Halle Berry.
It’s the first time Aubry has been seen in public since his run-in with actor Olivier Martinez, Berry’s fiance.
The French-Canadian model’s left eye was seriously bruised and nearly swollen shut. He sustained the injury at Berry’s home after dropping off Nahla, the 4-year-old daughter he shares with the Oscar winning actress, 46.
According to one source, Aubry “initiated” the brawl after he and Martinez exchanged words. Aubry “attempted to use his size to intimidate,” the source explains. “He shoved Olivier, then punched him. Olivier just defended himself.”

Martinez, meanwhile, was seen on Saturday morning, hitting an L.A. liquor store with a swollen, cut right hand. On Sunday, the couple, who got engaged in late 2011, were spotted outside the Malibu home they share.
Since splitting in spring 2010, Berry and Aubry have been in an extended and painful custody dispute over Nahla; a judge recently denied the “Cloud Atlas” star’s request to move her daughter to France full-time.
While Aubry has a court date set for December, Berry has already taken her own precautions. “The judge already issued an Emergency Protective Order that is effective December 3rd,” the source says of a temporary restraining order which keeps Aubry 100 yards away from Berry, Martinez, and Nahla.

That was a beat down and then some.
So we don’t know exactly what happened, and from the looks of Aubry’s face, Oliver seems to be engaged in activities beyond self defense. But at the same time, I don’t know if I can believe all that Aubry said.
“When you see the judge, you’re going to tell him you’re going to Paris or I’m going to kill you. You’re going to Paris, you’re going to get your $20 grand a month in child support,” Martinez allegedly threatened.
At some point Martinez allegedly told Aubry that cops were on their way.
“You’re going to tell them that you’re the one who attacked me, or I’m going to kill you,” Martinez allegedly said, according to Aubry.
OK, now he’s really reaching. So is he saying that Martinez would kill him in front of the cops?
This also seems to indicate that the beat down would be even worse if the cops didn’t get there in time.

I have always been very low-key about Halle’s relationships, etc. (I don’t even know the woman), BUT THIS TIME I MUST SAY that she is dead WRONG. What judge in his right mind is going to allow her to keep that girl around a man that will do something like this in the girl’s presence … AND TO THE GIRL’S FATHER?! Halle is going to have to pay up for this because it happened on HER property. Olivier is going to have to cough up cash as well because Gabriel makes his money WITH HIS FACE.

I certainly understand individuals are prone to automatically feel against Halle. It seems like the entire blame has been put solely on her for everything that has transpired between her & Gabriel’s relationship, including the latest incident that occurred on Thanksgiving Day. Their personal mess has generated unfair, negative, and hateful type remarks in forums like this. Hopefully the custody battle will be eventually over where all parties can move on with their lives. Halle tends to select males that are either abusive, or unfaithful. She is mainly no stranger to the pattern. Whether a set up, or not? He has a career, girlfriend, visitation rights to see his daughter, and has been receiving monthly allowances from Halle. With that said, Gabriel has to learn to control his temper and void unnecessary altercations / confrontations. Stop with the intimidation, bullying, so call tough image because he just got his a.. kicked. Frankly, it does not matter if Gabriel thrown the latest punch 1st, or not. He should have already been aware by now that he can not verbally, or physically abuse Olivier Martinez like he has done in the past with Halle and the housemaid, by pushing and shoving them around like toys while exchanging unkind remarks to them. If Gabriel wanted to he could have a personal assistant or some other trusted personnel to pick up and return their child back to Halle when visitation is over. No way does he has to see or deal directly with Halle and her fiance. Sh*t like can be avoided. By any chance is there any jealousy, not wanting to move on regarding Gabriel, or what? Laugh online, Gabriel has been a lil brawler himself. Now his wussie a.. gets rough up by another man, and immediately requests a restraining order from the law. Halle, all of a sudden now wants to seek a restraining order against Gabriel. Unbelievable this is something that Halle and the housemaid should have already initiated and had in place a while back.
Halle Berry, should consider even more to keep her fiance out of her situation that involves her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and their daughter. Gabriel can also avoid certain things as well, and should do just that without a doubt. Hopefully Halle, will give it some thought prior to marrying Olivier. By any chance Olivier has got all up in the business based on how his woman was being treated Gabriel, the problem will really intensify after I DO is said on the isle. Olivier beating up on Gabriel’s punk a.. on the other hand might be a lesson in advance for Halle to take note of. In addition to that Olivier must decide does he really want to get involved in this, and marry Halle with her track record. (Steer clear Olivier, Halle, and Gabriel of one another.)

For those who have been on this board for a while, ya’ll might remember that I used to go hard in the paint for Halle. I always thought she had a good heart, but was just prone to making poor choices and was often misunderstood.
I have come to conclusion that I was misguided in my thinking. That chick is batshit crazy. All she had to do was go to the sperm bank and “order up” a donor. She could have picked out exactly what she wanted – white, blond, blue-eyed, etc… to guarantee herself a nice little quadroon baby. But noooooooo….. She had to go through the pretense of a “relationship” when everybody in the world (except Aubrey, bless his heart…) knew all she wanted was a child. She was over 40 and the clock was ticking in overdrive. However she miscalculated. She thought she could take Aubrey through the motions for a minute, at her convenience, then make him go away quietly so that she and Nayla could live happily ever after by themselves. But nope. She picked the wrong white boy for that. He has a spine and he wants to be an ACTIVE participant in his daughter’s life. Well, good for him, but he’s crazy too. (That’s the problem- Halle met her “match” so to speak; someone who’s just as looney as she is.)
The ONLY person I feel ANY sympathy for is Nayla. She has 2 unstable parents, and her mama has a hot-headed boyfriend. There is no telling what kind of foolishness that child has witnessed. She is going to make some therapist rich…
