*Rapper Kid Cudi has lost a bitter court battle with his baby mama over the custody of their daughter Vada.
The performer, real name Scott Mescudi, agreed to surrender full custody of the child to her mother after a year of fighting for joint custody.

Cudi said he bought property in Chicago so that he could be close to the two-year-old, and provided her mother with generous child support. But, in papers obtained by TMZ, Cudi’s ex claims he has only provided “sporadic and inconsistent amounts” of money and accuses him of being an absentee father. She also claims Cudi has violent tendencies and a “long history of consistent drug and alcohol abuse.”
The two parties finally came to an agreement over the summer, and Vada’s mother now has full custody. Cudi has been granted visitation rights and will also pay child support.
When are women of color going to learn, the system loves child support as its a form of oppresion for men of color, yes there are guidelines but just like any law the colored folks get the harshest side of the scale. Work that shit out yourselves, get the system out of your business, as most people don’t know that once you are “declared the Non-Custodial Parent” the state revokes some of your rights as a US citizen and you are entered in the system and are treated in the system as a criminal. This is why they can take your Drivers License and Passport, look this shit it up if you think I am lying.
What’s up with the women of color mess? I guess WW don’t want child support? Kudi was a coke head, but no comment on that? please.
@Cappaucino…umm, I did take my kid’s father out of the system because I didn’t want him to go to jail and I didn’t want the money to be the reason why he didn’t have a relationship with his daughter. And guess what, he didn’t pay me another nickle, he didn’t have a relationship with his daughter, so tell me, what do you do when you take their fuckkin asses out of the system. When they don’t care, you can’t make them and that’s the bottom line. I’m sure this woman was like me and gave him chance after chance but of course to no avail, you can’t teach a man how to be a man.
Seems like a routine child custody ruling with the mother being made the custodial parent. As is almost always the case, unless she has some serious issues. The non-custodial parent is then given visitation rights and pays child support. I don’t see why EUR is making such a big deal about him not being granted joint support. The court grants joint support as a last resort because of the negative impact the instability has on the child .
So he got a house in close proximity to his daughter. Good for him, but folks go to even more extremes to avoid child support. Now I’m pretty sure this man cares about his daughter, but when mommy and daddy can’t get hitched, this is how it usually goes down. Mommy keeps the child and daddy pays support.
