The rapper released a statement regarding her passing.
“Myself and Tren, Natina’s son, would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this tragic time. This is a tremendous loss to our family,” Kurupt said. “Natina was a great person and I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did.”
Brandi Williams, a former member of Blaque, also expressed her grief online stating, “The world was changed forever, life will never be the same…she was my sister.”
Shemari DeVoe, the third member of the 90s group, also shared a few words via Twitter.
“My world as I know it has forever changed. Until we meet again, may you find comfort in the arms of an angel,” Shemari tweeted. “I love you Natina.”
Blaque was actually planning to make a come back with two major projects in the making.
The singer-actress was killed when a car struck her on Saturday night in Georgia. Authorities are still investigating the case.
