The Human Rights Campaign hired him for his soothing voice to promote support for same sex marriage. It could be the first of its kind, not because it’s an idea brand new to commercials, but because it could be the first to include a celebrity voice.
And for Freeman, this is along his lines of political truths, as he openly expressed his support for same sex marriage.
In an interview for “The Dark Knight Rises,” he made it plain.
“I grew up in the South but I started dancing in my twenties when I got out of the Air Force and studying dance you’re surrounded by gay guys.”
So same sex marriage doesn’t really bother him none.
