This is the actual headline on the front page of the Huffington Post Sunday, December 16, under the photo of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) on Meet the Press, when she announced she would be introducing a ban of assault weapons.

*The gun laws in America have long been in need of strict reforms that do not expire.

The type of weapons that have been discovered in mass shootings and residential areas are not needed for civilian purposes, so it is only logical that congressmen call for a ban on assault weapons.

During Clinton’s administration in 1994, he signed a bill banning assault weapons, but unfortunately, the law had an expiration date. The law expired in 2004, just in time for George Bush to keep it that way. It’s no secret that the GOP offer strong opposition to any type of gun reform and are not in favor of anything that would alter their gun freedoms.
