Frankie Beverly, after more than 50 years of creating and performing classic hits, will retire later this year. The farewell tour is being produced by the Black Promoters Collective (BPC), a coalition representing six of the nation’s top independent concert promotion and event production companies. The BPC has successfully organized several major urban tours over the past two years, including those featuring Maxwell, New Edition, and Mary J. Blige.

Frankie Beverly’s final tour is a testament to his remarkable career, and the BPC’s reputation for putting on shows with musical legends and contemporary superstars aligns perfectly with his legacy. Recently, Frankie Beverly was honored with the Urban One Living Legend Honor by TVOne, alongside Dionne Warwick, Mary J. Blige, gospel music super producer Donald Lawrence, and Chloe.

After completing the tour with major stops across the country, Frankie Beverly will make his way to Philadelphia for a street renaming ceremony. This is the city where Beverly and his group, originally called Raw Soul, launched their extraordinary musical journey.

Following the tour, Beverly plans to slow down and enjoy life at his home in the California Bay Area. After decades on the road, traveling the globe and performing his arsenal of hits such as “Back In Stride,” “Happy Feelin’s,” “We Are One,” “Southern Girl,” “Golden Time of Day,”
