*Basketball Hall of Famer Julius “Dr. J” Erving is slated to make a guest appearance as himself on NBC’s comedy, The Office. According to reports from Entertainment Weekly, the episode that will air on January 17th and features Dr. J as an investor in a sports marketing business that Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) is attempting to launch in Philadelphia.

mase*Ma$e has finally been released from his contract with Bad Boy. “I’ve been in that contract for 16 years,” Ma$e told MTV. “The other day he [Diddy ] let me out of it, so big shout-outs to Diddy, I guess he woke up feeling good and he wanted to do something good.” He also named Kanye’s G.O.O.D. *TMZ has obtained an image of the crash scene following the highway disaster that killed Dallas Cowboys star Jerry Brown last weekend — and the Mercedes he was riding in had flipped upside-down. As we previously reported, Brown’s teammate Josh Brent was driving at the time of the accident in Texas Saturday morning. Brent was subsequently arrested on the scene for intoxication manslaughter. TMZ has also obtained the 911 calls placed by a passing motorist just moments after the accident (listen below) — and according to one of the callers, “There was smoke everywhere.
