*The former Ruff Ryder queen, Eve, moved to London and found herself a boo, and he’s not a brother.
She chatted with Angie Martinez on Hot 97 about her adventure to Europe and falling in love with a white man. It was even a surprise to her, but love is what it is and she can’t fight the feeling.
“I need them to stop [caring about interracial dating]. What year is it? Like, stop. Seriously. Trust me, I gotta say, it is weird for me that I’m with a white dude. Trust me. I look at him sometimes and I’m like, ‘You are so white.’ Seriously! Yes, I gotta be real like that. I’m the first black girl he’s ever been with, so we are learning. Trust me, he’s been through ‘Weave 101,’” Eve said. “I’ve been out on a date but not like this, not like my dude. I had to tell my mom and my step-dad who still thinks he follows Farrakhan. It’s crazy. We learn a lot about each other but people came at me like, ‘I can’t believe you’re dating a white dude and you don’t like black dudes no more.’ I’m like, ‘I love black men, it just so happens that my heart went this way right now.’ Who knows? I’m happy…My family’s happy. [My pops] is cool. He still keeps calling him ‘my friend.’ [He says], ‘How’s your friend?’ Like, it’s been almost three years.”
Yeah, she’s doing the dang thang.
But is interracial dating still taboo in this day and age? One of the hardest femcees of an all-black coalition of rappers is now with a white dude? Taboo or forward thinking?
It never occurred to me, she liked men.
Oh wow… didn’t realize interracial dating was still an issue. Really?
While she’s looking at him sometimes and thinking ‘you are so white.’ I wonder if she realizes he may be thinking ‘you’re so black’ when he looks at her sometimes. Things that make you go ‘hmnh.’

Umm ok, Eve must have a cd coming out. I wonder would she be so geek to tell the world she was with a white guy if he wasn’t a rich well known brit. Nowadays these celebs feed into their own BS.
Interracial dating is neither taboo or forward thinking, it just is. There are always going to be people that do not like and do not agree with interracial dating, I am one of those people. I love Black love and I celebrate love and we cannot dictate who someone else falls in love with. The one thing I do understand is that when you spend enough time with someone and they represent the qualities you want in a mate, skin color takes a back seat. That she is dating a white man and still loves black men is commendable since so many black men say they date white women because black women are thus and such. Never just because they love them.
As long as you are happy who cares what others think – personally, I love being with my own race – less drama, but hey, I have no problem knocking boots with another race as long as she is intelligent, got a job and has her own identity…I’m cool with it. I do have a problem with someone losing his or her identity because they are dating another person of another race and denouncing their heritage!
To do that in my opinion is a slap in the face to the forefathers/mothers that went through sheer hell so we wouldn’t have to deal with the harshness they endured!

Based on a Eve’s prior lesbian act, she may have been into women. I don’t blame her for the change on dating men. So if Eve is dating men these days it is her preference and choice on whom she dates whether the guy is white, blk or another race.

Look, AMERICA is the place where interracial dating/marriage is a problem, not as much in other places in the free western world.
Again most educated, black men look at women as women, not as a color FIRST, unlike black women who do the opposite, and have a problem if a black man dates/marries outside of his race.
