*As someone wrote in a comment section about Terrell Suggs and his longtime girlfriend, Candace Williams getting married, “they seem perfect for each other and we hope they’ll be happy together.”
Well, that about sums it up for us too.
The Baltimore Ravens star linebacker and Williams got hitched on Friday in Baltimore at the Four Seasons hotel in front of about 30 people, according to Suggs’ publicist, Denise White.
Last month, Williams alleged that Suggs punched her in the neck and dragged her alongside a car he was driving while their two children sat inside. Williams lifted a protective order against Suggs just 3 days ago.
Suggs announced his nuptials on his official Facebook page Saturday morning, posting a photograph of himself in a dark suit and Williams in a white wedding dress. They have 2 children.
“Last night I married my best friend and the love of my life,” said Suggs’ post. “Our son gave her away and our daughter looked like a miniature version of my beautiful bride as she stood next to her. I’m a lucky, lucky man. Thank you God for all of your blessings and for showing me such amazing favor.”
Suggs and Williams resolved their differences which include d her filing for a temporary protective order on Nov. 20 for the incident we mentioned above. She voluntarily withdrew the order on Tuesday in Baltimore County Circuit Court. She had alleged a domestic violence incident in early September, but filed no charges. Suggs’ lawyer, Warren Alperstein, denied the allegations and the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year didn’t face any charges.
Hey, if after all that and they’re happy with each other, then we’re happy for them.
