The Chicago based teenage rapper is at risk of going back to jail and losing out on some money after he finished filming for an online video, in which he is seen at a gun range holding a rifle in New York. Authorities say he could be in violation of his parole.
Pitchfork Media has been ordered to turn the footage over to the court for review. However, the company’s lawyers say this could be a violation of First Amendment rights.
Keef was convicted last year for pointing a gun at a Chicago police officer.
A hearing on the supposed probation violation is scheduled for Dec. 17, the day before the scheduled album with Interscope Records.
