Currently, he’s featured in the military thriller “Allegiance” and is now one of the hosts on “106 & Park.”
“It’s a film about a lieutenant in the National Guard, who has some serious choices to make,” Bow Wow told Indiewire.com. “I play specialist Chris Reyes, one of the best medics in the whole unit. He is a father of a child that has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Basically, he is a real stand up guy.”
He added that he doesn’t do much preparation for his roles. In fact, he didn’t seem to care much about really appreciating the work involved with becoming an outstanding actor.
“I don’t prepare for my roles,” he said. “I don’t watch movies to get inspired. I don’t dig deep. I’ll never be that type of actor, and I doubt that I ever will be.”
Regarding his BET gig, he says it’s a project he’s focused on doing well.
“Allegiance” is in theaters now.
