Creflo Dollar Won’t be Charged for Assaulting Teen Daughter

creflo dollar*Remember that incident last June when Atlanta mega-church pastor Creflo Dollar Jr. was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his teenage daughter?

They got into a tussle when he objected to her going out late at night to a party.

Well, it’s been dismissed according to Fayette County State Court Solicitor Jamie K. Inagawa

Dollar, one of the best-known adherents of a prosperity gospel, recently completed a three-month, pre-trial intervention program that allowed him to avoid court. He was required to enroll in an anger management program, report to a probation officer and pay $1,072 in court fees, the solicitor said.

The pastor of World Changers Church International has no history of such incidents, and the victim, Dollar’s 15-year-old daughter, didn’t want to see him charged, Inagawa said. The program was used in 128 cases last year, he said.

“Those are among a number of factors we considered,” the solicitors aid.

Fayette County sheriff’s deputies responded to the Dollars’ home June 8 after his daughter told a 911 operator he had punched and choked her.

“It was not the first time it’s happened, ” the girl, whose name is being withheld because she is a minor, said in an audio recording of the 911 call.

  1. Is it just me, or is this article basically saying he beat that ass and his daughter has been made to feel guilty about the shade this has thrown on the family and now he’s getting off? Pastors ain’t saints! Nor are the congregation!

  2. oh yeah, he wupped that ass like a thief, ’cause if he didn’t, he would not have had to take that class.

  3. Seems to me that a new trend has been set called ” Let’s call the cops on our folks” Kids of this generation are becoming ungrateful little shits! Once they get in the double digits, they think they can do what they like and we as the parents can’t do shit.

My friend’s sister got her mother arrested by not going into school and was hiding the letters, this child is now the reason why my friend’s mother has just recently lost house!

If my son ever called the cops on me, the cops would have to take my son with them, why should I, as his mother be scared to discipline him, after I’m the one who brought him up and makes sure he has everything etc.

  4. back-in-the day, we’d be dead before we dialed 9 on the rotary phone!!

  5. Taurusingr says:

I don’t get why he had to take a damn class, for doing …fatherly duties! Oh yeah, that’s right!, the poe poe can nevvaaaaah be seen as “wrong” so, he haaad to be “a little guilty of SUMPtin” to justify the arrest. Otherwise…he could sue DEY asses for arresting him. And being given the choice of jail/rep all fkd up vs. “a class”?, ..it will always be…”Hi teacher”!! SMH! Not a fkn worrrrrrd about the so called “evidence” of her injuries, that turned out to be “BIRTHMARKS & scares” she’s had for yeeeeeeearrrrrrrrs!! But “he” haaaaas to be “scared” (no pun!) in some way, while the perp, is protected by the truth being hidden. Understand!!!, “I” think this dude is one of THE most “jack legged” preachers out thurr!! But …disciplining your child “YOUR” child, for lying/going some where/doing something they know they’re not suppose to do?, is not something “you” should be arrested for! Amen?, aaaaaaaaaamennnnn! Chuuuuuuuuch! Ps…..and when parents “don’t” discipline their kids?, mofo’s complaaaaaAin about “that”!!! You cain’t wiiiiiiiiiin! Sigh!

  6. What a shame and disservice to the family unit that we cant discipline these wanna be grown a** kids without being scrutinized. When they go out there doing adult stuff getting into adult situations, you still blame the parents. After a while, our kids will be on the news for shooting up schools, building bombs and what not. There has to be a medium.
