*President Barack Obama recently admitted that he likes the “Gangnam Style” track by Korean artist PSY. The president told People that he likes to do the signature “Gangnam Style” dance, just to get under the skin of his daughters Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11. “‘They’re cooler than I am,” Obama said of his daughters. “There are things I like that they think are cheesy, like ‘Gangnam Style.’ I love that.” President Obama also discussed getting choked up by the small amount of time he gets to be a parent before the girls are grown up. “The joy they bring on a minute-to-minute, day-by-day basis – the idea that that’s not there all the time is something that can hit me hard sometimes,” he said.
*Tyler Perry has changed the title of his upcoming flick with Jurnee Smollet. Once titled “The Marriage Counselor,” Tyler has re-titled the film “Temptation.” It’s an appropriate title considering Jurnee plays a counselor who is lured into an affair with a sexy billionaire, despite the fact that she’s married to Lance Gross! The movie isn’t due out until March 2013, but get a peek at the moment of no return for Jurnee’s character here.
*It’s been two years since Keri Hilson’s “No Boys Allowed” dropped and a lot of folks are asking what’s up with her these days. “I took a little break, and I’m back,” Hilson explained to VH1, teasing a new album set for release in the first quarter of next year and beaming with excitement for her upcoming silver-screen debut. She is set to star alongside Vin Diesel. “He’s become my mentor!” she claims, in Chronicles of Ridick: Dead Man Stalking, and she is “super excited” about getting back to her more theatrical roots. “I was a theater major in college,” she said, “Acting is just as much a part of the things that inspire me, and the things that keep me creatively juicy, just as much as music is. I’d love to have a lasting acting career.”
