*As we recently reported, Gary Dourdan’s money is funny.
Actually he ain’t got none. That’s why he had to declare bankruptcy.
According to TMZ, the former “CSI” actor filed documents this past week that explain how he dug himself the $1.73 million financial hole he’s currently in. Basically it coils down to the fact that when he got let go from the TV show, his money problems began. makes sense to us.
Here are some highlights:
- Dourdan says he went broke all thanks to “diminished payment of residuals” from “CSI.”
- The “CSI” checks drying up also caused him to default on his two mortgages.
- His current goal is to rebuild his career (and his bank account) with “pending involvement as an actor in two movie productions.” That’s it.
Good luck with that plan, Mr. Dourdan.
And you dont think your run ins with the law and drug use have anything to do with it huh
I’m sure that they made you get on drugs too…….I don’t think so
And not handling YOUR business is really the reason you are broke…
One man explain to me many years ago that it’s not how much you make….but how much you keep! I guess this dude didn’t keep a dime!
He’s a drug addict. He’s just chasing his next high.
So true..drugs will take EVERYTHING from you but some people simply have that need for substance abuse….it wasn’t the show, it was the drugs…
rehab did nothing for him apparently?? hes still blaming everybody else for his choices…
Drugs, beating up your girl friend, clownin… all of these come to mind when I think of Gary.
I did see him in a Cosby / Different world reruns! That was positive… I guess he forgot that his checks used to come with long amounts of time inbetween!
Gary, take it to the LORD and ask for strength.
You are too good looking and a likeable actor not to suceed. And, Gary, be kind in word,
and not physical in all cases. I do not think u hurt anyone.
P.S. Dennis went to celeb rehab and look at him now…no drinking, on Celeb Apprentice and
maybe he will bring the north and the south together..(N. Korea) Ronnie

When the money’s gone…they get scarce. Look how empty Dennis Rodman’s stable is now.
I agree with all the posts, Gary had a nice cushy job on the hit CSI and could not keep it because of his constant abuse of drugs, being arrested for other offenses, he was given multiple chances ot straighten up, the execs had no choice but to let him go and he does not understand his vices were his down fall.
