daphne bradford*Say hello to the LA Sentinel’s 2012 Educator of the Year, Daphne Bradford.

The visionary was recognized for helping students at Los Angeles’ Crenshaw High School obtain certifications in digital media, publish a book and receive invitations to the Democratic National Convention. Many of her students took part in the Obama Campaign and even had the opportunity to visit the White House.

Bradford, CEO of The Mothers of Many (MOM), has been acknowledged by Microsoft’s Innovative Educators.

Through MOM, her reach extends beyond her immediate community. Via the programs she’s created, Bradford has been able to institute various educational programming at Dorsey and Hamilton high schools as well as California State Universities at Dominguez Hills, Northridge, Los Angeles, and Santa Monica College.

Bradford is an Apple certified instructor.

Editor’s Note: We’re also proud of Daphne because of her personal connection to EURweb. She once served as our Gospel Editor.
