*Supermodel Naomi Campbell suffered a torn ligament in her leg after she was attacked and robbed in Paris, reports the New York Post.
The incident happened over a month ago but Campbell decided not to talk about it publicly - reportedly at the request of the police, who are still trying to track down her attackers. When the New York Post contacted Naomi to find out more about what happened, she said “I am sorry, I do not talk to press, but I am fine.”
The incident has only just come to widespread public attention. It is thought that she was targeted for her expensive bling.
A source told the New York Post, “It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out, and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone. She was attacked in the street as she hailed a cab, and robbed… Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up.”
Naomi reported the incident to the cops in Paris and her boyfriend, the billionaire Vladimir Doronin, flew her to Colorado, where she was treated by top orthopedic surgeon J. Richard Steadman.
I guess they needed more that one attacker since it’s na-na . . my initial reaction was to laugh , , , , and it stil is.
Yeah she didn’t go public because everybody knows she’s known for trying to kick somebody’s ass and now that she got her ass kicked its not so nice and with all the money she has and her billionaire trick, why the hell is she’s flagging down a cab when she could have access to a private car, like she does private planes?? They should have broke both legs…
I didn’t want to go there but, she may be right in that someone was “casing” her, probably something to do with them “blood diamonds” she’s so fond of. . .she may want to consider a short weave, so she can look over her shoulder . . .good point about her transportation, but since she’s such and ass, no one probably wants to deal with her.
