Obama to get Sworn in by Special Book

President Barack Obama addresses a joint session of Congress*Another historic moment is going to take place on January 21st, when President Barack Obama will be sworn in for the second time.

But this one is special. Since the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday is being observed the same day as all the action, he’s to be sworn in using the late civil rights leader’s bible.

“We know our father would be deeply moved to see President Obama take the Oath of Office using his bible,” Dr. King’s children said in a statement. “His ‘traveling bible’ inspired him as he fought for freedom, justice and equality, and we hope it can be a source of strength for the President as he begins his second term. With the Inauguration less than two weeks away, we join Americans across the country in embracing this opportunity to celebrate how far we have come, honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. through service, and rededicate ourselves to the work ahead.”

This is a sad and sorry day. What a mockery…..Dr King would not approve of gay rights nor abortion, gun grabs, or apologizing to Middle Eastern countries, then giving pay raises to members of the government when America is suffering. This man is not a hero to the black community because he’s half black and in office.Rather it’s a disgrace that will never be forgetten. What a stupid stupid thing to vote for someone based on skin color then turn around and defend him. He is no more qualifed to run this country than Mickey Mouse.
