Southern Belle Phaedra Parks is a woman who knows money, how to make it and how to grow it, and she’s built a successful empire for herself over the past couple of years.
Now that Ms. “Gone with the Wind fabulous” at 40 diva is in her space, Phaedra has had the chance to check out what the woman is really all about.
The pair was supposed to be working on a workout DVD together, but the whole deal went south when Kenya refused to show paperwork or get an attorney to verbalize her proposal.
Phaedra said Kenya came in demanding $100K in production fees and a 10 percent back end for all sales produced, so she fired Kenya.
Parks took advantage of Bravo.com’s blog and publicly questioned her co-star’s business sense, saying she doesn’t know what she’s doing.
“I am assuming that she thought since we had known her for one month we would trust her with $100K without doing our due diligence,” Phaedra said.
She added that the deal didn’t include anything about distribution, only production.
In the meantime, Phaedra Parks has moved on and released “Phine Body with Phaedra & Apollo Donkey Booty Volume 1.”
Kenya all the way! The production amount for the video had already been revised to $35,000 – and yes the DVD seem to have a cheap flare about it, but remember you get what ya pay for.
If Kenya also was offering a sweetheart deal for distribution, YES, Kenya was correct for demanding a ’10% back-end’ amount. I still can not figure out how Phaedra can think she has such a fine body and shape. Sorry, but I just do not see it!
l like Phaedra. She is witty and has some amount of sophistication. Kenya acts crazy at times, but how could Phaedra think Kenya deserved nothing? Then Kandi says Phaedra was going to pay her up front? Oh no Ms Phaedra, that’s unprofessional, you didn’t want to pay. Kenya still had the deal with the company but I wouldn’t have started a ‘workout video’ at least not now. Phaedra was cold and Kenya, two wrongs don’t make it right. You could have been the bigger person. Unfair game plays twice, you didnt have to be that player. Surprise at you Phaedra, ok you’re hurt but now following Ms Portia and bad mouthing Kenya? You are smart, didn’t you see what Portia was doing ‘pushing the fire?’ Well, at least Nene came to some rescue.
