*The day after the 2013 Grammy Awards, the above photo popped up of Adele looking like she’s giving Chris Brown a piece of her mind.
In the shot, Breezy is standing up to greet the British superstar with his right hand outstretched and open while Adele appeared to be speaking forcefully at him.
Nobody knew what was being said, and no one was on record hearing the exchange, but the assumption quickly became that Adele was berating Brown for not standing up to salute rival Frank Ocean after he won Best Contemporary Album for his “Channel Orange.” Others figured she was chewing him out for beating Rihanna.
On Tuesday, Adele took to Twitter to finally set the record straight.
“Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually,” she wrote.

LOL!!! @ this pic, I guess Adele was trying ot be nice and friendly but if it were me I would not be giving out any compliments at least not to Chris Brown and a few other artists either, just my two cents

The gossip blogs are trying to make something out of nothing. I don’t see all of that when I look at the picture. Her mouth is open and he looks like he’s going to greet her. If she was ‘yelliing’ I’m sure he wouldn’t of taken it lying down. Much ado about nothing. And adele’s dress looks like her great-granny’s frock. Ugly as hell with that flowery print! Ugh!
Melody, that’s not true. CB went off on a white female comedian last year on twitter. No fan of CB’s at all but I do recall that nasty cussing incident he had with that chick.
I just wish the media would leave Chris Brown alone! I’m so tired of all these “non-stories” popping up about him. He has paid his dues and people should move on. No one knows what happened the night of the “incident” but the two people involved. While I do not condone what he did, we have to remember how young he was at the time, If she has forgiven him, then the rest of us should as well. I think we and the media should just move on.
