The show kicked off with “Pepsi’s first-ever crowd-sourced Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show introduction starring hundreds of real fans from around the country used more than 500 frames,” said Angelique Krembs, VP of marketing at PepsiCo, according to Mashable. 
Then Madame Bey began to do her thang to the max! Then she was joined on stage by Destiny’s Child. They did a medley that included “Bootylicious” and “Independent Women.”

I enjoy her music a lot but I didn’t care much for the show but I still think the Nfl made a great choice in selecting Bey
I completely enjoyed Beyonce’ great performance. I would like to note though, that perhaps at least one of the black female dancers on stage could have worn their hair in an Afro hairstyle. This full length weave straight hair is sending a loud message to black women are indeed proud of their natural hair.

Again…”Whitney’s version was TOTALLY lipsang, Bey “actually sang live WiTH” a track, which is a lil different. She set a high ass bar yesterday, that will prolly never be surpassed by ANYone!! Beyonce and DC were good, it is only so much that can be done in the small amount of time permitted for the halftime show but it was enjoyable, looking forward to her new CD and tour.
I wasn’t blown away at all. What I say was a pretty woman with a nothing special, but fit body doing what she’s been doing for years. There was nothing special about her nor her performance and I wish the media would quit acting like it/she was!! Same tired-ass dance moves certainly doesn’t deserve any props!

You noticed too? lol At the Superbowl party I attended, people’s reaction was like “oh.” People watched then went back to eating their wings. No, “she killed it” or “wow” or anything. I remember a guy saying “I like ‘Halo’ but not when she’s singing it in lingerie.” lol On every site I’ve seen today, the comments are like 10 to 1 panning her performance–and the comments come from ALL kinds of folks, old, young, Black, white and in between. Most people seemed to have found it trashy and almost x-rated (who wants their young kids seeing a half naked woman thrust her crotch in the air???) Yet, seemingly ALL of the media outlets are praising it. Something is amiss. How can there be that much disparity in spectators and media outlets??? I think she has some well-oiled contacts placed in the media. Not one I’ve seen has mentioned the risque nature of her performance yet in everyday conversation that is usually what comes up first. So I’m calling foul on the media.
Anywho, my personal recap: I am not a fan of her music and I’ve peeped her schtick (ie get ‘angry’ to show confidence then throw some smiles in there to show ‘girl next door,’ and continuously redirect attention from lack of musicality to ‘fierce’ sexiness) so I was not suprised. A lot of those who are big fans of hers were disappointed, but the more extreme fanatics like some on this board think she can do no wrong, so I guess if she’s your cup of tea, you’ll continue to be a fan, and if she’s not, her show didn’t change your mind.
And here she goes AGAIN. Commenting on yet ANOTHER Beyonce thread. Not to just give her opinion about the show. Oh no, that’s boring!

What did people expect??? Bey and DC sung some of their old hits so they were performing their old dance moves to the songs, the halftime was for the old stuff. I think Beyonce will have new dance moves for her NEW CD!!!

I kept rewinding my DVR until I figured it out. You could see the two Beyonce doubles walking up from either side, then they dimmed the light for them to take their position and turned off the corresponding background videos. It would have been more real if they had the doubles hiding behind the screen, then have something block their silhouette, right as they walked in front of the screen from the side. Same with the two darker dancers who replaced them.
Yeah, for a minute they had me scratching my head. I’m guessing that folks in the crowd that were not that close to see what actually happened were stumped.

The peformance was ‘Predictable’ for Beyonce. She is a married woman now, with a husband and child. She needs to stop with ‘The Crouch’ in your face, and half-naked outfits. Very trashy, and not fit for children to view!
I’m noooooo Beyonce fan, but I can’t take it from her; this show was GREAT. Better than 1/2 times shows I’ve seen in the last 10 years. If this is a typical Beyonce show, then she’s very entertaining. Look, she is what she is-a performer with high energy, danceable music. To be mad at her for not being more than that isn’t really fair. Plus weren’t a lot of the musicians in the band female ? There’s room in the music world for harmless fluff. She’s cotton candy. Enjoy it; don’t eat for EVERY meal, EVERY day, but a little now and then won’t hurt you. It’ll remind you of childhood fun and keep you feeling young. I will say this.
