John Amos was my class-mate at Colorado State University back in the day. He was a very nice and comical guy who always kept us laughing. If you ever see him, tell him to tell you the joke about a man sleeping on a bench and the MGM lion. I forget the punch line after all these years. He used to wake us basketball players up at 5am on Saturday morning to invite us to the Old Main basketball court to play basketball after practicing all week from Monday to Friday. I always growled, turned over and went back to sleep. LOL!! Amos was a great guy! Amos always teased my big basket ball cente Sonny Bustion. “Oh Hell” LOL!!! Fanteeking
