But, with Danica Patrick making her mark in NASCAR for women and Darrell Wallace Jr. breaking racial barriers in the sport, maybe things will change in the next 50 years.
But some people won’t be changing even that soon.
Fox sportscaster and TV personality Erin Andrews, was trying desperately to navigate the crowd with her camera crew at this weekend’s Daytona 500 in hopes of getting an interview with Danica Patrick (who finished in 8th place).
But rather than getting to Patrick, who does she bump into but 50 Cent.
The meeting between Andrews and 50 Cent was a bit of an awkward collision that spoke a thousand words. 50 Cent went in to kiss Andrews and she head juked him trying to avoid his lips.
The end result was a kiss on her cheek, but the encounter didn’t stop there.

OK EUR, y’all and whoever saw it as an awkward kiss fail moment is either confused or making something out of nothing. First, Erin was the one who hollered at 50. And She wasn’t trying to avoid him. For whatever reason, she decided to offer her left cheek instead of her right. It may have looked awkward, but clearly not for the reason you are insinuating.

OMG, this is really getting out of hand. 50 gives Erin a smooch at Daytona and everybody losing their minds. Retreating into denial mode using slow motion to convince themselves that the obvious didn’t happen.
OK folks. First, it’s obvious that 50 and Erin have a history. How deep is another matter. But there is no way you can tell me that Curtis Jackson would just run up on this white woman to kiss her not knowing how she would react. Look at the body language. As soon as he saw her, he was expecting her to greet him, and she did. And then he proceeded to do what I’m sure he did with her on previous occasions. And that’s what this is all about. Folks are in denial about the fact that 50 and Erin are cool, and may even be more than that. So they come up with all these bullshit reasons to convince themselves that she was trying to avoid him. Yeah, it may have been awkward for her to greet 50 like that in such a redneck crowd, with people seeing that she’s that down with him. But knowing 50, I wouldn’t be surprised if he already hit it.
