*First lady Michelle Obama rocked the inauguration with a brand new hair-do, showing off her youthful beauty. But not everyone loved the look.
Karl Lagerfeld doesn’t like the change and said the bang are “not a good idea.”
“I don’t understand why she changed her hair,” Lagerfeld commented on the on France’s Canal Plus.
“I love Michelle Obama,” he elaborated, but concluded that the sharply-cut brow fringe makes the first lady look like a news anchor – or “une speakerine de LCI,” he said in French.
But Mrs. Obama doesn’t seem a bit worried about his comments. So many have praised the look and she hasn’t changed it since its debut.
So boo on you Lagerfeld.
Karl Lagerfeld needs to Shut UP!!! Mrs Obama wanted to change it up a bit and she is happy with it. I am gald she does not let some stupid azz comments by some aging designer influence her. Go Michelle!!

He’s entitled to his opinion. I’m sure he doesn’t care when folks say he looks like a well preserved 15th century Frenchman complete with a powered wig and pale/skeleton androgynous face. By that same token, I’m sure Michelle doesn’t give a hoot about his opinion or any other person’s concerning her hairstyle.
Bottom line — it’s Michelle Obama’s hair. As such, she can do whatever the hell she wants with it.
Ahhh, yes, it’s Karl’s hair and he should be able to do whatever he wants w/it.

I like the bangs. It is refreshing to see her have a different look. Karl Lagerfield’s opinion is his but that doesn’t mean he was being negative or throwing shade at the First Lady. Sheesh, why is this news again?
glad to see others don’t like it. i thought it was just me, so I kept it to myself. in general, bangs like hers look better on unattractive women since they conceal the face more. FLOTUS doesn’t have anything to hide so she needs to get rid of them.
JMHO, but the bangs would look better if they were SHORTER. However, that would defeat their purpose of hiding her eyebrows. We’ll get used to seeing her this way with time.
