The film, “Monica,” is not a sequel to LisaRaye’s debut & cult classic “Players Club” and has been described as a modern day “Indecent Proposal,” according to CarltonJordan.com.
It’s about an engaged artist couple that attempts to save ‘Monica’s’ cancer stricken father. They make an agreement for her to become an exotic dancer to make that money, but things go haywire after their pact is broken.
Others on the roster include Lynn Whitfield, Omari Hardwick, Omar Gooding, Lew Temple, Terrell “T.O.” Owens and so many more.
“Monica” is produced by one of it’s stars – Datari Turner (lead), and Gordon Bijelonic, Michael Becker. The story was written by Greg Carter and Datari Turner. The director is Gregory Carter.
If Stacey Dash can be a whore for Mitt Romney, why not a stripper?
Why are they even bothering to make this straight to DVD foolishness?
Both are low-budget actresses so it fits their persona and track record. I wouldn’t be surprise if this film goes straight to DvD.
