OJ Simpson Throws Super Bowl Party in his Prison Cell

*OJ Simpson didn’t let a little incarceration stop him from throwing a Super Bowl party.

According to the New York Post, Simpson had a bunch of his inmate buddies over to watch the big game.

His producer friend Norman Pardo told the Post that Simpson hosted the gathering in his cell at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada. He’s serving a 33-year sentence for kidnapping and armed robbery and according to Pardo, he’s one of the few inmates to actually own a television.

“If you have the money, you can buy a TV at the inmate store and put it in your cell,”
Pardo explained, before adding “He’s like the Godfather of the prison now.”

Pardo is apparently hoping to sell a movie about Simpson, entitled “Unpromotable,” which is all about Pardo’s efforts to rehabilitate Simpson’s public image after his acquittal of murder in 1995.

“It shows what it’s like to promote the most unpromotable man on the planet,” Pardo explains.

  1. He from being a Heisman Trophy winner from the Godfather of the prison. Wow, that’s really something to be proud of I guess. **Kanye Shrug**

  2. “He’s serving a 33-year sentence for kidnapping and armed robbery” Actually no, he’s not. He’s serving that sentence as retroactive punishment for murdering his wife and Ron Goldman. I still say the judge who sentenced him should be tried for misconduct. On paper he is serving three decades for trying to back his own items. She clearly exploited the legal system to satisfy her own vendetta.

Anywho, back to the subject of the article, I think there is a lesson here, “Bloom where you’re planted.” He will die in prison but still seems to draw a crowd with his personality. Shame that his producer friend is joining the long line of folks who have tried to exploit this man for their own financial gain. From the Goldmans on down. STILL using this man to line pockets. Oh well.

  3. It’s even much sadder that O.J. continues to allow himself to be a star of this sick minstrel show he calls his life. He is just to far gone and there is no coming back.
